Get Paid Write / Freelance Work

If you have a knack for writing or other freelance work you can easily make a part time income without a tonne of effort. Freelance professionals are always in demand! Many companies (big or small) will outsource work to professional freelancers everyday, whether it be writing, data entry, programming, administrative, web design, etc. If you have the required skills you can bid on these types of projects (similar to an auction) and if you win, you get the job! It’s that easy. You could also turn this into full time work if you are ok with not knowing for sure that you have a steady pay check coming in, which many people steer away from, similar to being a Real Estate Agent.

Here’s how it works: A potential employer, or anyone needing some work done that is willing to pay for it will post details of the job required. This will stay posted similar to an auction for 7 days (on average). People can then bid for the job. Your bid is how much you would charge the customer and usually some sort of time frame to get the job done. At the end of the bidding the customer can select who he/she wants to give the job to, hopefully this is you. Typically one of the lowest bids win as it’s cheaper for the customer. It also helps if the person bidding on the project has feedback, this works similar to eBay. As you complete projects the customer leaves feedback about your job.

Commonly there is a small fee for winning a project that the hosting company takes. This ranges from $1 - $5. This is where they make their income from. Below is a list of sites where you can find freelance work. I have used a few of these and been paid and will continue to.
